Pursuant to Article 108, paragraph 3-bis of the Cultural Heritage and Landscape Code, the following activities are in any case free and open to the public if carried out on a non-profit basis, for the purposes of study, research, free expression of thought or creative expression, or promotion of knowledge of cultural heritage (Article 108, paragraph 3-bis of the Code):

The reproduction of cultural assets, other than archival assets, subject to consultation restrictions pursuant to Chapter III, Title II of the Code, carried out in compliance with the provisions protecting copyright and in a manner that does not involve any physical contact with the asset, nor its exposure to light sources, nor the use of stands or tripods within cultural institutions;

The dissemination of legitimately acquired images of cultural assets by any means, in such a way that they cannot be further reproduced for profit.

Reproductions made in the study room with personal resources

No fee is due for reproductions made by:

private individuals for personal use or for study purposes, or by

public or private entities for promotional purposes.

In both cases, the production must be carried out on a non-profit basis (Article 108, paragraph 3 of the Code).

The State Archives of Pesaro-Urbino offer a paid photocopying service, according to the attached FEE LIST, updated pursuant to Ministerial Decree 108 of March 21, 2024, which amends Ministerial Decree 108 of March 21, 2024. 161 11/04/2023 GUIDELINES FOR DETERMINING MINIMUM FEES AND CONSIDERATIONS FOR THE USE OF GOODS DELIVERED TO STATE INSTITUTES AND PLACES OF CULTURE, effective April 15, 2024.

Please note that, pursuant to current legislation, photographic reproduction costs must be paid in advance.

Payment Methods

You can pay by credit card, bank transfer, or prepaid card by registering on the

Mibact Payment Portal.

After selecting the State Archives of Pesaro Urbino, the reason for payment, and the amount to be paid, you must log in using your credentials (if you are not already registered, you must register) and choose your payment method.

Please note that reproduction costs do not include any PSP (Payment Service Provider) fees that participate in the PagoPA service.

Only after payment has been verified will the digital images be sent to the applicant.
